Raise of hands here, people. How many of you have actually rode through the desert on a horse? **Scans crowd** Hmm… not too many of you. Good thing America is in Vegas to let us know what the experience is all about. Want to know something a little ironic about America? These dudes, while technically American citizens, weren’t actually born here. Sons of military personnel, they were actually born overseas. Funny, right? Anyways, after linking up and settling back in the states, they released the mega successful record “A Horse with No Name.” Maybe you’ve heard of it. That ridiculously popular track was followed up by singles like “I Need You” and “Tin Man” and they’ve been touring the globe ever since. They’ve sold millions of records and for the life of us, we can’t figure out why they’re still riding that darn horse in the desert! Maybe we just had to have been there? The good news is, America is returning to Las Vegas to celebrate their 54th anniversary with their Ride On Tour 2024, so maybe we’ll finally get the details of that fabled horse ride. Like, why were they in the desert in the first place? Did they use saddles? How did the horses handle the heat? So many questions, so little time…
