August similarly to July is one of the hottest month of the year in Las Vegas with the average high temperature of 102°F (39°C) and average low of 73°F (23°C). Raised humidity of 26% and occasional showers (typical 0.49 inches of rain) make heat hard to bear.
However, instead of avoiding visiting Vegas in August, take advantage of lower travel rates and plan to spend most of time in the comfort of casino, by the pool (Vegas pool parties are in full swing in August!), at an indoor attraction or show.

September is a great month to visit Vegas for several reasons. First of all, with the beginning of school year, family travelers leave Las Vegas.
