Check out a photo of The Signature at MGM Grand. Take a good, long, hard gander at it. This is what a sophisticated Vegas getaway looks like. Soaring 38 stories high, these three graceful towers stand like giant gold exclamation marks near the massive 5,044-room MGM Grand. However, The Signature isn’t the kind of place that lingers in the shadow of a megaresort. Showcasing its own bold style, it offers a vacation experience to be envied. Of course, if you stay in any of The Signature’s three identical towers, you’ll have access to all of the nonstop excitement and entertainment at MGM Grand…just with a little breathing room. It typically takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the farthest Signature tower to MGM Grand. The towers are all linked together and connected to the mega resort via moving walkways. But we digress…let’s get back to what can you expect while at The Signature. It’s a nongaming, nonsmoking, all-suite resort. That means there’ll be no noisy slot machines and no clouds of smoke hovering about. And the staff will bend over backwards to assist you. The accommodations are condo-style with either one or two bedrooms and small kitchens. Most of the suites offer private balconies. You’ll have incredible views of either the Las Vegas Strip or the surrounding valley (and from some suites you can actually watch the planes take off and land at McCarran International Airport). Each tower has its own heated outdoor pool — and as a guest of The Signature, you can swim at the Grand Pool too. You’ll find a gift shop, a Starbucks and The Lounge, a swanky place to enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail, in the first tower. The first and third towers contain fitness centers. The second tower is home to a deli called Delights that serves a lot more than sandwiches (you can get a good skillet scramble for breakfast or one of several different pastas for dinner). Then again, The Signature boasts such an incredible in-suite dining menu, you may not want to go out to eat. Available around the clock, it features items for breakfast, lunch and dinner, appetizers, snacks and desserts as well as bar selections. You can even request a box of handmade chocolate truffles or an artisan cheese spread be delivered. And, as mentioned earlier, anything that The Signature doesn’t have, MGM Grand does. With the additional dining, entertainment, nightlife and shopping opportunities just a short stroll away, The Signature offers the best of two worlds: luxurious accommodations fit for a VIP combined with all the action of Sin City. This a place to stay that doesn’t feel like Vegas, except when you want it to.
