Oh mama we’re ready to play our air guitars, air pianos and whatever air instruments we can get ahold of, to the classic hits of Styx. Vegas is a huge desert but we’re sailing away to a time where rock bands provided the ultimate garage jam sessions, and B-T-Dub they still do. If you grew up in the ‘70s, or your parents did, you know what’s about to happen when Styx invades the Palms on January 19, 2020.
The band rose to mega-fame when their song “Lady” from “Styx II” caught nationwide attention. Shortly after that recognition, they released “The Grand Illusion” in 1977, which featured another huge hit, “Come Sail Away,” as well as another radio staple, “Fooling Yourself.” One of the band’s best known and most memorable songs, “Babe,” came from 1979’s “Cornerstone.”
We’re holding open auditions for our air band. Meet us the Palms on January 19, 2020 and we’ll rock out to Styx’ greatest hits and revel in the glory days. Cheap tickets are available now.
