Is that a drag queen? No, it’s just Kathy Griffin. You might think this is an insult, but K.G. (our nickname for our new bestie) loves being called anything with “queen” in the title. Now, we don’t usually paste pictures together with glue and make a shrine over a comedic genius, but this time is the exception. After launching her Bravo reality TV show “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,” we officially became obsessed and so did everybody else, that show ran for six seasons and won two Emmy Awards. At the Grammy’s she was nominated for Best Comedy Album in 2009, 2010 and 2011. And if that isn’t enough, she even made her Broadway debut with a show called “Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony.” The only thing missing at this point is her becoming a self-proclaimed author…oh wait, that’s happened. Her book called “Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin” hit No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller List. We could go on and on about how many awards she’s won, but we’ll let her show you why she’s so deserving. This comedy queen came to slay, and that’s exactly what she’ll be doing when she hits the Vegas stage.
