John Fogerty: My 50 Year Trip

There are stars who barely scratch the surface of the music scene and then there’s John Fogerty. The legend himself has been in the limelight for a half-century. Now he’s heading to Encore at Wynn Las Vegas to scorch the stage with his many years of talent.

Every musician starts in that small band nobody has ever heard of, and the same goes for John Fogerty. In ’59 he joined a band called “The Golliwogs.” If you ask us, it kinda sounds like something that crawled out of the bog. Nonetheless, that jump started his career and before long he was performing with Creedence Clearwater Revival, which is obviously a pretty big leap. CCR hit it big with songs like, “Fortunate Son,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “Have you Ever Seen the Rain?” But like so many before him, Fogerty struck out on his own.

It’s time to pull up his music and study his playlist; we’re making sure we know every lyric when we see John Fogerty inside Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on select dates in November 2019.
