The unusual cast features domestic animals that were rescued by Gregory Popovich from different animal shelters across the country, including Las Vegas’ Lied Animal Shelter and transformed into Strip stars.
Moscow Circus School graduate and a fifth-generation circus performer, Gregory Popovich created his comedy pet theater over 10 years ago. His Vegas show incorporates vaudeville-style classic entertainment with a twist of light European comedy. Juggler himself, Popovich performs complex circus acts including balancing while standing atop of 9-foot, free-standing ladder and juggling nine rings. Born in the family of circus performers (his mother’s stage companions were dogs,) from his childhood Popovich learnt to understand animals and to bond with them. His animal cast members were chosen for their unique personality and character. Cats, dogs, doves, parrots and other co-star Gregory on stage. They perform roles of passengers waiting for a train, classroom students, and patients by the doctor’s office.
