Apparently the devil went down to Georgia and realized that it wasn’t as fun as Vegas. Good thing the Charlie Daniels Band is here to keep him entertained and the rest of us safe.

Devil slaying aside, Charlie Daniels Band are legit country music legends. Pioneers of the country, bluegrass and southern rock genres, these dudes are no one hit wonders. While “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” is a generational, mega success, these dudes have climbed the mountain of accomplishment with other hits including, “Simple Man,” “Orange Blossom Special” and “The South’s Gonna Do It Again.” Actually, their phone book worth of hits has gotten them inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, the Musician Hall of Fame and Museum and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Maybe more importantly, they’ve received our vote for # 1 beard band in music history, too, N-B-D.

There’s no need to be alarmed when the devil comes down to Vegas, folks. There’s a reason why they call this place Sin City. And with Charlie Daniels Band’s decades worth of devil slaying, it’s safe to say that we’re going to be alright.
