As a founder of the modern mosh movement, Danzig is one of the major players in early 90s metal. Led by former Misfits and Samhain lead singer Glenn Danzig, the vocalist uses his unique, bluesy voice to create a sound that can be described as doom-metal meets the crooning of Elvis Presley. This ultimate metal concert also features three other bands, one of which is the Polish extreme metal band Behemoth. Known as a major contributor to the Polish extreme metal underground, Behemoth’s heavily satanic-themed lyrics have earned them multiple controversies, including banned live performances and one member going on trial for tearing up a bible in 2007. The Satanic doo-wop duo Twin Temple features married couple Alexandra and Zachary James, who have two studio albums to date. Their sound harkens back to the 1950s and 1960s in style but incorporates Satanic lyrics into the traditionally-wholesome musical genre. The one-man-metal-band Midnight is the passion project of musician Athenor. Midnight began in Cleveland’s underground scene before being signed with Metal Blade Records and releasing its debut album, Rebirth of Blasphemy, in 2020. His most recent album, Let There Be Witchery, was released in 2022.
