We’ve all run through the house holding a wooden spoon pretending to be a samurai, right? After checking out Samurai: Armor From The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, we’ve realized just how much of a disservice our bathrobes and kitchen utensils are doing these ancient Japanese warriors. We’ve all seen samurai movies, but Samurai: Armor From The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection puts all of that on-screen badassery into perspective. More than just weapons and pieces of armor, this exhibit transports you into the day-to-day life of the samurai. Wait until you see this stuff. We dare you to tell us that these dudes didn’t have nimble fingers. The exhibit will run through April 2018, so make sure you check this place out. We’re proud to say that we’ve learned enough about mid-18th century armory that we were able to ditch our wooden spoon and create some weapons that’d make a samurai proud.
